I want to be Spam bot xD.
Since I'm bored, I'll explain France school system, in Tahiti lol :
Maternelle (Kindergarten) (3 years, from 3 to 5 years old)
SP section des petits (little section)
SM section des moyens (medium section)
SG sections des grands (big section)
Don't really remember what I learned there xD. I think it's where you learn how to read.
Ecole Primaire (5 years, from 6 to 10 years old)
CP
CE1
CE2
CM1
CM2
By the end of it, you must know how to read and write. You know the basics of physic, tahitian (in French Polynesia) you know how to make simple multiplications and divisions.
College (High School) (4 years, 11 to 14 years old)
6eme --> At the end of this year you must choose if you are going to take latin class.
5eme --> At the end of this year you must choose if you take spanish or tahitian class.
4eme
3eme --> At the end of this year there's the Diplome National du Brevet (it's a diploma xD). You must also choose an option for your next year (example : SES = science economic et social, it's a class where you learn for example, how many children read books depending on their parents work...).
Lycee (it's still High School) (3 years, from 15 to 17 years old)
2nd--> You have to choose what kind of "bac" you are going to prepare for the "terminal".
1ere --> You pass the French "bac" .
Terminal --> You pass the "bac".
After that you can start a job or go to the University.
The bac = baccalaureat, it's the diploma you get when you graduate. You have a lot of chance of failing it xD.
There's many different types of bac.
The 3 main ones are
S (science) : it consists of math, chemistry, physics and biology
ES (social and economics science) : the name says it all xD.
L (literature) : it's english, spanish, and philosophy (eww lol).
In the France school system, you don't choose what kind of classes you take.

Also, isn't it true that you go by block scheduling? IE: you don't have all your classes every day but you have longer periods? Also, I learned in my French class that some French schools let students go off campus for lunch every day. Is that true?
Also, I heard points are given on a 20 point scale instead of a letter scale like A, B, C, etc.

Yep that sounds just about right, more or less very similar to the Canadian system, and a lot more to the Quebec system to be mroe specifique

Yep points are given on a 20 point scale (in ecole primaire it's on 10 point scale).
You can only get for lunch when you are in college and lycee, or you can go eat at the cantine : if you choose that option, you MUST go eat there, and your meal is already cooked, you don't choose what kind of meal you want either, it a surprise lol.

I saw that post Red, and skipped it lol I don't really want to read anymore then I have too... since I am already reading a bunch of bio journals to find information and what not. Good fun. I kinda like the way the American system is set up, but that is because I am used to it.

Cheeseburgers ? what's that . There's not cheeseburgers @ the "cantine", it's only "healthy" food (I didn't know that fries were healthy lol). The only good part of it, is that you pay it once every 3 month, so even if you forgot your money, you'll eat.
Since I don't eat there, when I forget my money, I have to ask my friends xD (luckily they are not evil ^^).

But on a good note, my college team won, beat a top 20 team.

I was doing homework, so I didn't see any of the games. But ya I heard that game was good too. Glad Indiana won, but I want Sampson out as their coach. He's a cheater and that is all he will ever be. >.<

Even though I'm a fan of both schools, I would have rather seen Purdue win tbh, but they just couldnt shoot worth a shit in the second half, but that may have been because of Indiana's Defense more than anything.

Maybe, but either way Sampson should be gone. But meh, if it was a good game, it was a good game. I just like it when it's competitive. Had Purdue won they would of had a nice lead in the Big 10.

Block scheduling is pretty good for college. I wouldn't like it for high school though. It's actually more hours per class then a day that goes from 8-3:30. o.O Don't mind it in college though.
